Aditya Pratap Singh is an accomplished Industrial Engineer with a broad range of experience in Quality Engineering, Engineering Management, and Lean Six Sigma. He is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Pennsylvania State University, where he has been working on Regression Analysis using Minitab and Excel. Aditya has previously worked with Trilliant, where he served as a Summer Engineering Intern. During his time at Trilliant, he built and monitored the development and integration plan of human body size measurement software tool, which brought down the monthly expenses to $100 from $900. He also contacted more than 50+ suppliers across the world for finding the right product and tool to meet the firm’s requirement. Aditya developed a new supplier for the company to meet the requirement while reducing the expenses by more than 40%. Aditya also worked as the Head of Business Operations (Quality Excellence) at Sharpnode Technologies, where he employed Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) to detect and eliminate the problem in the Automation hardware device based on the 65% of issues reported from the customers. He performed root cause analysis and implemented systematic corrective actions in the electronic product, which resulted in reducing production time by 27% by applying lean tools such as time studies and process mapping to eliminate the excessive steps involved in the production of the ‘Internet of Things’ based hardware. He also reviewed supplier manufacturing processes and collaborated with suppliers on the process improvement and value enhancement opportunities, which resulted in the improvement of quality of product by 9%. Aditya holds a Master of Engineering Management degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from Jabalpur Engineering College.
